Tri-D FacsRite HP is distinguished from Tri-D FacsRite by the addition of factory applied disc retention rings to increase the burst pressure rating of the filter media from 1500 PSI to 3000 PSI. Tri-D FacsRite HP discs are flush mounted and secured directly into the base pipe. The unique disc insertion design and retention ring construction allows the burst strength rating increase with increased temperature making the screen ideal for thermal applications.
Drilling longer laterals saves millions in reservoir development costs but the extended length raises concerns. Operators want to be sure the screens used for sand control can be deployed to target depth without distortion. Any damage to the filter media could degrade the effectiveness of the screen in controlling sand and sand entering the wellbore can result in costly remediation or even catastrophic well failure.
Made with Tri-D Weave media, Tri-D FacsRite HP is a robust screen suitable for use in wells where severe deployment and operating loads may be encountered, and in wells with high operating pressures and temperatures.
This full bore screen delivers high permeability in the critical near wellbore area and a low pressure drop across the screen, thereby enhancing well productivity. High permeability and high plugging resistance are the two critical factors in controlling sand without impeding flow.
The high burst pressure rating of Tri-D FacsRite HP allows operations that are not possible with conventional slotted liner, wire wrap and premium screens.
Tri-D FacsRite HP screens can be customized to reservoir potential and cost by selecting disc size and disc density, as well as the metallurgy used in both the discs and the base pipe.

Tri-D FacsRite HP resists deformation and screen damage and has an open flow area almost double that of typical slotted liner. Even higher open flow area is feasible whereas increasing the number of slots would significantly weaken slotted liner.
